The machines matter.

We own the heavy equipment most South Florida landscape companies rent, or don’t have access to at all. Here’s what that means for your project.

Landscaping is a heavy-equipment business. The difference between a good crew and a great one usually comes down to whether the right machine shows up on the right day with the right operator. We don’t coordinate with rental yards, we don’t wait for sub-contractors to free up, and we don’t pad the schedule. We own what we need.

What we own

Our own crane

Owning a crane is what lets us be the big-tree specialist we are. Mature European fan palms, royal palms, and large specimen trees can’t be moved any other way. Most landscape companies that install a 60-ft palm coordinate with a third-party crane operator who doesn’t know the tree. We don’t. The crane, the rigger, and the planting crew all work for DeMarco.

Cat 323 excavator

A 23-ton hydraulic excavator that’s the backbone of our earthwork capability. Pool digs, drain field replacements, large planting excavations, drainage trenching. With a 323 we’ll dig a pool in a day. Most crews running smaller machinery take three.

Wheel loaders & specimen handling

Mature specimen trees travel in custom wooden crates strapped to our wheel loader. It’s how a 30-foot olive or a heavy field-grown ornamental gets from the nursery to the job site without snapping a trunk or rocking out a root ball. Specialized equipment, specialized rigging, and a crew that’s done it enough times to make it look easy.

Skid steers & smaller excavators

For tight-access jobs, smaller residential lots, or specimen-palm placement where a 323 is overkill, we have the right scaled machine for the job, including the skid steers we use to set mature palms exactly where they need to land.

Dump trucks and haul-off capacity

In-house haul-off means demolition debris, drain field spoils, and tree material leave the site the same day. We never leave a pile for “next week.” Our branded fleet runs all over Broward.

Aerial lifts & specialty equipment

Articulating boom lifts for canopy work on the trees we can’t reach from the ground. Plus stump grinders, augers, trenchers, compactors, concrete saws, and a fleet of smaller tools for the dozens of small specialty operations a real landscape project requires. Every one of them sized so we’re not stuck waiting on a rental.

What this means for you

Faster turnarounds. When the job needs heavy iron, we don’t lose two days waiting on a rented machine to free up.

Better quotes. Owning equipment means our cost is labor and fuel, not the markup on a rental.

Bigger jobs possible. If your project needs a crane and an excavator on the same day with the same crew, you have a short list of options. We’re on it.

One accountability. When something goes sideways on a job site, there’s no “the crane operator says it was the landscaper’s fault.” It’s our crew, our machines, our problem to solve.
